BIOGRAPHY
Errol Beauchamp grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and attended the University of North Texas in Denton, where he majored in Design Communications. Following graduation, he studied Drawing and Painting at North Texas University, before moving to Denver and establishing a design firm that specialized in product marketing. In addition to managing his consulting firm, Errol also taught Design at Metropolitan State College in Denver, where he became very interested in the field of Dimensional Visual Design. His adaptive integration of three-dimensional forms into consumer product marketing allowed him to provide exhibit design consultation services for four decades to global clients in San Francisco, New York, Monte Carlo, Milan, Frankfurt and the United Kingdom.
While traveling the world as an exhibit design consultant, Errol was inspired by the natural beauty and manmade artistic wonders he saw during that pursuit. He dreamed of becoming a sculptor. He spent his free time looking at sculptures in museums, visiting artists’ studios and making his own sketches. In 2002, Errol sold a concept and created his first monumental sculpture. For the past ten years, he has been successfully pursuing his dream as a sculptor of public work. He recently closed the offices of his design consulting firm in Denver, in order to spend all of his time sculpting in his studio in Evergreen, Colorado.
