Celebrated Oklahoma City artist Beth Hammack has spent her career in art, jewelry and interior design. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and has studied at the Chicago Art Institute and the London City School of Arts.
JRB Art Gallery is excited to showcase Hammacks large abstract paintings in this new show “Birds Utopia” so titled because she has hidden birds in every piece. Hammack’s work traditionally incorporates drawing, subtle hues, disguised symbols and barely legible writing. As an abstract artist she leaves the interpretation of her work to the viewer and purposefully wires her painting to be hung vertically or horizontally.
